Iran: Lying for Time

Iranian leaders repeatedly state that their nuclear program is for peaceful usage even if it seems that there is ever-mounting proof that they are building a bomb – in fact they have enough Uranium today to build five bombs within approximately 6 months.

Disregarding the open issues concerning their transgressions as reported in the IAEA reports, all their leaders keep on maintaining innocence based on the infamous “nuclear fatwa” issued by Khamenei himself which states that Iran is not and will not develop nuclear weapons since they are “haram” – a sin.

Body Language Lie Detector — Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

Body Language Lie Detector — Iran’s Parliament Leader Ali Larijani

Google “nuclear fatwa” and you will see that not everybody believes the veracity nor the effectiveness of such a fatwa since a) it is a verbal fatwa (as opposed to written one), b) it can be rescinded at any time by Khamenei himself, c) it fits in with Islam’s idealized form of lying in negotiations (look up Taqqyia) and d) it goes against what some Iranian leaders have said in the past.

Still, it seems that they have fooled quite a few people with what they say but it is getting harder and harder for them to lie.
Just look at their body language and you will see just how much pressure they are under.

Following are three videos from an amateur “lie detector” who decided to do the next best thing to giving them all a polygraph test: He studied their body language on videos concerning Iran’s nuclear program (and also some human rights problems).
On the hot spot are Khamenei himself (!), Ahmadinejad and Ali Larijani.

Watch the videos and decide for yourself.
Although the guy who made these videos is not 100% sure, we are – Iran’s leaders are lying to buy time to develop nuclear bombs.

  1. Scratching one’s temple is a sure sign of a fib. The blood is rushing to the head and making you itch. The brain and reality are out of sync because of the telling of a lie. And the head heats up as a result of the blood flow causing the disquiet.

  3. Better keep that lie detector away from Obama, it’ll need recalibrating after he’s finished with it! All these hit pieces against Iran are just tiresome and lame. The IAEA has been corrupted and now sings the tune the US wants it to sing, we can see through this rubbish.

  5. Iran will get the bomb. Make no mistake of it. The new islamic empire is on course to be reconstructed; the mortally wounded head, will sooner or latter, be healed.

  6. body language lie detector? is someones culture taken into account? For example 2 African men holding hand is not a sign of being homosexual, its a sign of trust and friendship. How will scratching your head cool you down? could be dandruff. The point was that they followed all the IAEA rules and then some extra ones like installing live camera feeds which no one else in the world had to do and still the Americans insinuated with no proof (remember Iraq?) that they were building a bomb. I get it, it is a short step to weapons grade uranium. But it is legal to enrich uranium for nuclear power plant usage and cooperation rather than antagonizing them (remember America already overthrew a popular democratic elected government of Iran) could be much more valuable in making sure no weapons grade material is made. It is a clear step to go from 20% to weapons grade. It is akin to asking the US to stop making fertilizer because you can make a bomb out of it. I would rather be on the inside having a look than on the outside wondering.
